To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, Shanggong Shenbei Group, together with its century old national brand "Butterfly", launched the public welfare activity of "Shanghai Butterfly Flies into the Red River Valley", donated 15 sets of butterfly brand intelligent household sewing machines to Pangda Village, a well-off demonstration village on the border of Yadong County, Shigatse City, Xizang, to add a modest contribution to the local villagers' hard work and cultural and creative development.

Pangda Village is a village under the jurisdiction of Xiayadong Township, Yadong County, Shigatse City, Xizang. It is located on the west bank of the Yadong River valley in Donglang District, at the junction of China, India and Bhutan. It is named after Pangda Grassland on the nearby Donglang Plateau, and is one of the border well-off villages in Yadong County. In September 2020, 124 farmers and herdsmen from 27 households voluntarily relocated from Shangdui Village (4630 meters above sea level) in Duina Township, Yadong County, to Pangda Village, becoming the first batch of relocated residents in the border Xiaokang Village. Affected by special historical, geographical, and complex neighboring country environments, the villagers who have arrived at the border face changes in their living environment, habits, production methods, and other aspects due to the over 2000 meter altitude difference before and after relocation.

After understanding these issues and difficulties, the head of Shanggong Shenbei Market Department established contact with the local Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and conducted in-depth research on 124 villagers from 27 households in Pangda Village. It is understood that before the relocation, most villagers relied on agriculture and animal husbandry for a living. After moving to Pangda Village, there was a huge change, and guarding the land and borders, as well as production cooperation, became the main mode of production. Some skilled herdsmen in the village want to take advantage of the natural environment advantages of the local green mountains and rivers, collaborate with the county's tourism industry to produce some cultural and creative products, and achieve independent production and sales monetization.

After learning about this information, Shanggong Shenbei Group integrated company resources, mobilized the brand community "Sewing Home" service team of the Butterfly brand sewing machine under the group, and coordinated with the Yadong County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau to propose the idea of jointly establishing a rural cooperative in Pangda Village and establishing a "Pangda Village Sewing Home Garden Production Demonstration Point". Through the "Sewing Home Community", establish a channel for communication and mutual assistance between Shanghai and Tibet, and build a bridge of friendship between the people of Shanghai and Tibet.

On June 29th, the Shanghai Sewing Home Service Team safely sent out the first batch of Butterfly brand intelligent home sewing machine public welfare supplies. In the future, Shanghai and Tibet will rely on the communication platform built by the "Sewing and Embroidery Home" to help the Pangda Village Rural Cooperative complete the production design and sales monetization of cultural and creative products through product training, cultural and creative product design, government resource docking, e-commerce platform cooperation, and other means, creating a new model of "Sewing and Embroidery Home Demonstration Point" in the border villages.
