On August 1, 2023, Shanggong Shenbei Group, through its European subsidiary, officially completed the acquisition and delivery process of SONOTRONIC Nagel GmbH, the hidden champion of German ultrasonic welding non-standard automation equipment, and renamed it SONOTRONIC GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "SONOTRONIC", "Shounuo Chaosheng"), adding another European member to Shanggong Shenbei Group. This is another strategic merger and acquisition by Shanggong Shenbei Group, following its acquisition of Dukpu Aihua Company in Germany in 2004 and its acquisition of Baifu Industrial Systems and Machinery Co., Ltd. and KSL Special Equipment Co., Ltd. in 2013. At present, Dr. Frank Meyer, the CEO of German company Baifu, also serves as the CEO of SONOTRONIC.
